Resumes that Resonate: Workshop #4 (Writing the Professional Summary)

Join the Office of Dual Careers and Faculty Relocation for the fourth session in our Spring Quarter resume series led by Pam Schilling, career coach and University of Chicago alumna. The workshop will focus on the impact of and best practices for a professional summary in your resume and the "About" section on LinkedIn. We will focus on format (prose vs. bullets), tone, how to capture your career mission, integration of keywords, and how to project your future focus. Participants will have one week to write a draft that we'll collaboratively edit in the following workshop on May 19 and receive feedback from Pam. Attendees are encouraged to attend the first three workshops in the Resumes that Resonate series. This workshop was developed for partners of UChicago faculty, but all are welcome to attend.
